ChannelHelm is a local-first video-to-publishing command center: drop a video, get every derivative asset — drafted, scored, and ready for your review.
One video is never just one video. It is a YouTube title, description, chapters, tags and thumbnail; a set of vertical clips with captions; a blog draft; a newsletter section; and a post for every social network you run. ChannelHelm watches the video the way an editor would — what is said, what is shown, and what matters — and drafts that entire publishing kit in one pass. You review, edit, approve, and ship.
ChannelHelm runs on your own computer. Your media, transcripts, and generated assets live in your own database and file storage — there is no ChannelHelm cloud, no upload step, and no per-minute processing bill. You choose the AI models it uses, including fully on-device ones, and every generated asset records exactly which model, prompt, and inputs produced it.
ChannelHelm is built by Thorsten Meyer in Iffeldorf, Germany, under the Thorsten Meyer AI label — designed, built, and run daily by the same person who publishes with it. The product exists because its builder needed it: running multiple channels and brands as a single operator only works when the repackaging is automated and the judgment stays human.
